I wish I had more pictures to show, but I was too busy either exhausted from biking or enjoying whatever time break I was able to get. The original plan was to actually just visit Bayview Village since it was one of the last nearby malls I've yet to have seen. But the trip felt so short that, spontaneously I was heading straight to downtown.
My first destination was the Exchange Towers, specifically, I was looking to try out this new Tim Hortons place that served boojie foods. I especially have a thing for matcha, so I had to try their matcha latte. They even served creme brulee, special flavours of Tim Bits, and many other unique pastries.
The next stop was Tommy Thompson Park, which was this large park that would have such a great view of the Toronto city waiting for me. By the time I was nearing the end of the trail, it was starting to be less populated with people, I was out of my phone service range, and it was starting to get late so I started heading back. The only notable place I was able to capture was Woodbine Beach on the way home. Honestly the way home was dreadful.
Luckily I was able to make it home before the sunset, but my legs were so weak I wasn't even able to walk up my stairs! This was truly a unique experience and what kicked off my goal to have at least one major trip a year. This I hope to one day top my range that I biked this day.
